Hi everyone. I'm Amanda 19yrs old and am bipolar. I've been suffering from it for as long as I can remember but was not diagnosed until I was 17yrs old. I have been institutionalized twice in my life already, once a 13 (horrible experience) and another time when I was 17 (better experience.) I am not currently on any medications as my health insurance has been cut off and can't afford to pay for my therapy or medication out of my pocket. I am starting a local bipolar support group next Monday and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm so glad I found this website, I have a really good feeling about it!

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I am in the same boat with insurance crap. It sucks. Hopefully it will get better for both of us soon! If you need anything I'm here. I don't claim to have all the answeres but I can try.
You'll get lots of support here...and get to see a bit of soap opera too. It's a fun place to be.
