I just started on this and I was wondering if others have had any success with it. It seems to be working okay, but I hate how big the pill is! Any help?

I just started it on 2/17 and boy do my friends see a difference. I still get depressed so i'm going to have to get on an anti-depressant but my friends say that they can notice how much better i am with my aggression. I would be a happy camper and then someone would do something that would piss me off in the flick of a switch and i would become very aggressive and super pissed because thats how I am when i'm in hypomanic phases. But since I started this it has helped me a ton! so just give it a chance. It will take a week to two weeks to take affect.

thanks for the help-i have one more question: did anyone experience double vision, sore throat, or stomach ache while on this? i recently upped my abilify so i don't know if that's it or if it's the trileptal. help!

um no i don't experience any side affects really. The only two I experience is drowsiness and headache. But everyone is different with it. So you said your on abilify to? So you're on two mood stabilizers? hmm interesting.

i take lithium, trileptal and lamictal twice a day. i know that when i don't take the trileptal i feel a lot healthier, physically. it upsets my stomach and gives me a slight head-ache. when i don't take it though, i'm very mentally unstable. so it's kind of a drag, but i have to. everyone gets different side-effects from it. when i haven't eaten and i take my meds i do get double-vision and it's almost like being very drunk. stick it out, your body might adjust to it.

How much trileptal? My daughter is on 150mg-morning/evening (total 300mg), 150mg Lamictal evening only, and seroquel to help her sleep.

I take 450 mg in the morning, 600 at night, 300 lithium at night (we're trying to phase me off of that), 20 mg abilify (night) and 20 mg vyvanse in the morning for ADD

My younger son takes Trileptal @ nite and it seems to be working for him. He takes 2 300mg pills every nite.

I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
