I am showing a lot of signs of bipolar disorder and have been for a few years. I know I need help but I'm afraid of what my family would think. My dad always thought of me being as perfect a child as he can get, so if he found out, his pride in me would be tossed aside as if it were an old toy. If my mom found out, she'd get me the help I wanted, but would pay a lot more than her income. My sister, Sarah, would find more reason to tease and torture me. And my youngest sister would feel like I betrayed her for not telling her that she's admiring a possible psycho for her entire life. I don't want to be a disappointment, but I don't know any ways of getting the help I need. Any advice, please?
