Hi all,
We tried my 13 year old who was diagnosed with more of a mood disorder than Bipolar.. not sure exactly what the difference is, asside from the extremes.. we have her on lithium and we just recently added a low dose of Abilify.
The day after she tried the Abilify she had stomach virus symptoms with a low grade fever, stomach pain and throwing up. She didn't take any the next day because she was sick and then she got better and they put her back on it the following day. She says she feels better and we have seen a change in her anger and attitude but she is still complaining of her stomach bothering her and feeling nauseous.. Has anyone had a similar experience with Abilify and are the stomach issues just temporary until she gets used to the med or is it a long term side affect??

yeah they are temporary...lasted only a week

Oh ok, thank you.. I was worried because this seems to be the best medicine for her so far so I was hating the fact that the best solution would have the worst side effects and she wouldn't want to take it anymore.

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
