I am sick and tired of this medical system and this society (USA) that allows people to die because they don't have as much INSURANCE for medical problems. I have seen for myself that FRIENDS die at a young age because the insurance companys WON'T PAY FOR PROPER MEDICAL TREATMENT. I had my best friend, Laura die of CHF and Cellulitis because of this. The hospitals put so many people I know in for so little time, and some had to go into rehabilitation, which THE INSURANCE companies wouldn't pay for. Oh, some do-if the have Medicare. Medicaid-forget it. HMO'S-forget it.My other girlfriend died yesterday because she was in a coma, came out of it, put in hodpital for two days, and let out. She died a few days later. I grieve, and my anger at this system that steals peoples' dignity away because of the almighty dollar. Only a few hundred control this country. This is the only 'civilized' COUNTRY THAT dosen't have UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE. I am very ill because the HMO's WOULDN'T PAY FOR A LIFESAVING PROCEDURE. When these insurance CRIMMINALS meet their makers, I wouldn't want to be there.I grieve for DIANE,55 years old, who died because she was poor. SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE. Please, dear readers, if you have a chance, please see 'SICKO' by Michael Moore. It is a moving and even funny documentary about real people and real lives.
