I don't know where to begin, but my concern is with my sister. Our mom passed in 2002 when she was just 16. It hit her the hardest. She went through a dark phase and then 3 years ago, she met her husband. She married him in July 2007. He just passed in Jan 2008 and she's only 21.
She seems to be doing well overall. The expected fits of depression, etc. She's seeing a counseler, knows very well about dealing with death.
I'm freaking out a little because of a situation that brewed this weekend. A friend of my husbands has been hanging out at our house during the weekends. Nice guy, going through a divorce so I guess he's dealing with sort of a loss too. I knew she was befriending him, but this weekend she told my husband she is attracted to this man. My husband also caught them cuddling. Our theory is she is just looking for comfort. I'm hoping that's all it is.
How soon is too soon after loosing your soul mate? I know it's for her to decide, but I am leary of her jumping into something so soon. I also have a fear that our family will be angry with us because it is our friend.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I am just concerned, I guess, about the same thing happening. I am there for her as much as possible. I'm her "call and b!@#" person lol. Many late nights. I think it makes it a little more difficult because this is a friend of my husbands.
