Anyone have any experience with taking Seroquel to aid in sleeping?

deleted_user
No, I never have taken it. Sorry Rainbow

I didn't take that but I have ambien and for me it really doesn't do much good

I did not agree to it, but my PCP wanted to put me on a low dose of Seroquel to help me sleep when I was going through some personal turmoil, so it is something some physician. Hoever, I would be leary of this because that would be an off-label use and Seroquel is really a drug used more often for Bipolar or Schizophrenia. I turned down my Doc.

Sorry, I am typing so fast, my grammer is a mess. Hope you understand.

I take 200mg of Seroquel and I absolutely LOVE it! I was taking Trazadone and it helped but it made me have weird dreams and it did not keep me asleep the whole nite like Seroquel does and also Seroquel does not leave me with a hangover effect like Ambien did! I HATED Ambien! Ambien made me talk out of my head and just do crazy stuff that I wouldn't normally do or say. However, Trazadone did not leave me with a hangover effect either but like I said, it just did not keep me asleep the whole night through like Seroquel.

I was misdiagnosed as bipolar and given so much Seroquel I could barely walk. Told my doc, said if I was sleeping it was good. Its a very potent drug, very bad for me. Thats my experience.

I am bipolar and was taking seroquel as was my daughter. We both had significant weight gain and ate, while asleep, at night. It has been clinically proven to cause some patients to develop diabetes. There is a class action lawsuit against it because of the diabetes and pancreatitis it has caused in SOME patients. My experience only--hope it helps.

hi nancy! i was given seroquel right after i found joeys body. i was insane, and the shrink needed to take me down a few notches. after about a month i stopped taking it, because it made me completely zonk out. its pretty powerful, but i am sure it affects everyone differently. love, me.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
