a poem that i wrote for a friend after our camping trip in the mountains...
Life in the Stillness of Memory
do you remember
the crackle of firelight
in the cool of evening's prose?
do you remember
the castle of trees
which were our haven
of peace?
do you remember
the quiet whispers of the wood,
the cries of wild birds on magic leaves?

Another beautiful poem, full of imagery. I could see it all in front of my eyes, and feel your remembrance. God bless.
