On Sunday, my nephew was in a car accident and was thrown from the car. He is in critical care and we have no idea if he will survive. He has serious brain damage. Our family has had much too much. My Mom died on the 10th of this month. If my nephew doesn't make it, he will be the 8th member of our family that we've lost in the last 13 years! And my brother and his wife, have had so much loss. Their first spouses both died, and his oldest son was killed in an accident 5 years ago. Now, her oldest son is in a horrible accident. Both of these sons were found by their younger brothers and both have small children.
I just don't know where to turn and what to do anymore. Does anyone have any recommendations for books or other things that can help guide us in our grief journey. Feels like we need to super strength versions.

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Although I have not attended one there are grief counceling and support groups. I would look it up in your phone book or on the internet for one in your area. Lots of people do well with them. I wish you all well and god bless. Take care.
There are no words I can use to console you for so many losses in so short a time. My heart goes out to you for your pain and losses. Wish I could offer more.
I read chicken soup for the grieving soul 2x. It was a little comforting for me. I also enjoyed the "adult orphan" that dealt with parental loss. Plus I read "I wasn't ready to say goodbye"
Hope that helps some
