We live in a small town pop. somewhere around 12000.Our local newspaper covers all the surrounding counties. Our aera has lost a total of 43 people in auto accidents this year.If the reporters at the news paper can get a picture of the accident thay will print it on the frount page of the paper. When My Grandson and his friend died in May,the reporter tried to get a picture of the burned car with the boys still in it.Thankfully the firefighters kept them back until the car had been tarped.I belive in freedom of the press, but where is the compassion. The accident happened on a Saturday and on Monday the paper printed the picture and what they called details of the accident. The details that they printed turned out not to be what happened. Was it so important to have a story and not concider how much it hurt the family.I am sure that the other families felt the same pain when they lost their loved ones.
