Hi
A friend recommended this site to me, so here I am.
In April this year I found out as I was pg. Husband and I were thrilled as we had been trying for 6 months. At 12 weeks scan found it was twins and we were thrilled.
I had a text book pg. Really easy. Felt well and was really blooming.
To cut a long story short, I went into early labour at 24 weeks and 4 days. There was no warning really. I felt fine.
I gave birth to twin boys, Lucas and Alfie. They were born alive and Alfie was even crying.
They were taken to NICU but Lucas grew wings after 8 hours. He just wasn't responding to any of the treatment. He was too premature.
Alfie was doing ok though. He was poorly but stable. His lungs were very immature though and he started to deteriroate. He couldn't get enough oxygen into his blood. He lost his battle after a day and half.
As you can imagine, we are truly devastated. A few weeks ago we were planning our future with our twins and now we have been left with nothing.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

There's a miscarriage/stillbirth community here as well, I don't know if you've joined them already.
There are no words, except I'm very sorry for your loss. There are plenty of things to not say, unfortunately most people don't know what's upsetting when they mean well.
Please feel free to message me if you need to chat.
