I have not seen my grandparents in over ten years. Ever since they moved to FL in the 80's I have only seen them a handful of times. I was really close to my grandpa but not as much to my grandma. She was 91 and they were married 69 years - can you believe that. I was upset but more at peace knowing she is in a better place. I am more sad for my grandpa and his lose. I wish I could ease his sorrow. This was the first contact with my family in over 4 months so it was a little awkward. I am ok with it though. I know that this is the way it needs to be for my mental health. I will do a special ceremony to honor my grandma today and all my other relatives who have passed. I'm sad but hanging in there.
