I would like to know if there is anyone else out there who has some serious QUESTIONS?
I see there are alot of Christian members. I am a Christian - I love and follow Jesus with as much of my heart as I can. I am what alot of people would call a 'happy clapper'... My husband and I are both full time church workers.
BUT I HAVE QUESTIONS! Everything seemed so nice and clear before Rachel died...now everything seems a shade of grey to me. I still believe in God and I can FEEL His love through all of this pain.....but i have QUESTIONS! SO MANY QUESTIONS!
And every time I start to mention them to people, everyone just comes with millions of answers which dont actually answer!!!
So this is my question - does any one else have questions about God? Not answers - questions?????????????????
Is it just me?????

A friend sent this to me..As far as I can see, grief will never truly end.It may become softer overtime, more gentleand some days will feel sharp. But grief will last as long as Love does - ForeverIt's simply the way the absence of your loved onemanifests in your heart. A deep longing accompaniedby the deepest Love some days. The heavy fog mayreturn and the next day, it may recede.Once again, it's...

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
Death is a part of life, so why do we sometimes end up in the deepest darkest depths of despair not knowing how to climb out of that dark place? That is the one I would like to have answered.
He is always good. But we have an enemy who is out to rob kill and destroy - as he clearly has done with my little Rachel. That enemy seems to have alot of room to move for the moment....so I am not sure if VICTORY is something for this life or for the next???
Thankfully I totally believe in heaven and hell - and I believe with my whole heart that God has got good things planned for us....but I am just unsure as to how we'll get through on THIS planet until He comes back.
hugs and prayers

Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why.
No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come.
For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die. Isaiah 57:1,2
"No eye can see, no ear can hear, no mind can conceive what God has prepared for those who love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9
"God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble." Psalm 46
"So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you in my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
You are forgiving and good, o Lord, abounding in love to all who call to you.
Hear my prayer, O Lord; listen to my cry for mercy.
In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me. Psalm 86:5-7
"So I tell you, don't worry about everyday life--whether you have enough food, drink, and clothes. Doesn't life consist of more than food and clothing? Look at the birds. They don't need to plant or harvest or put food in barns because your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than they are. Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Of course not.
"And why worry about your clothes? Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won't he more surely care for you? You have so little faith!
"So don't worry about having enough food or drink or clothing. Why be like the pagans who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.
"So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today. Matthew 6: 25-34

For some reason, a lot of people seem to think being confused and having questions shows a sign of weakness in your faith. But I think it is quite the opposite. I think it is a sign of opening your eyes and your mind, and not just blindly believing what you have been told is true.
And when you come out the other side, which you will if you keep seeking and do not give up, you will be much more solid and secure, and unshakable, than you were before.
We continually grow and change all our lives - It's part of the life journey. And questioning is part of learning and growing. I agree it's not a weakness of faith, we do still believe He's there, we just don't understand what the heck is going on and WHY some things are allowed to happen.
The minister who was part of the Hospice team when my mom passed was extremely helpful to me at the time I was there. Unfortunately, he lives in TX and I live in NJ. I had to come home after 3 days and 3 days was not nearly long enough for me to have more questions answered. There is always the option of talking to a clergy member to help dissipate the clouds we form in our minds. They don't have all the answers either, but they have a way of helping us change our perspective on any issue that troubles us. To entertain a different train of thought about it. To explore more avenues, and it does seem to help the confusion.
"Do not let your hearts be troubled" boy it seems sometimes I work on that one every day! Sure I have questions. Sure I want answers. But I also believe He works for the good in our lives behind the scenes and in often unnoticed ways.
If you are angry with God, that's ok. He's big enough to take it. And He will still love you no matter what.
There are so many things that are beyond human understanding, and greater minds than ours have struggled with these issues and come up empty for answers.
I have come to a point in my own life where the big question I want answered is: why am I here? By rights I should have died in childhood, if it was left up to the humans I would never have made it. So He wants me here. Why? I pray for guidance and direction. I don't know what "God's Plan" for me is. I don't know what He wants from me. I hope someday I'll have that answer. For some people they have a calling, they know exactly what they are supposed to be doing. Me, I'm just muddling along, taking it one day at a time, wondering.
I just don't believe there's anything that can ever possibly separate us from God's love for us.
