My husbands father has been given 2 weeks to live. He has been unconscience most of the last few days. Hopefully we can ask him about his funeral. But we may not get to. We have all been discussing songs to play at his funeral. So I thought Id tell you all a little about him and see if you had any ideas. He is 72, and everyone says that he is the last "real" cowboy. He isnt overly religious. And has always been a strong man. He has 5 children. And a lady that he lived with, however he always thought he was just a burden to her (so love songs arnt a great option). Maybe you all have something fitting. Thank you!

The one most fitting song for my brother was "I Saw The Light" It somehow fits him so well.
For the Funeral service itself we chose "Softly and tenderly Jesus is Calling" and Amazing Grace and the" Song of Farewell." and they were sung by Church vocalist.
It is wise of you to think ahead because when the time comes it seems like a blur of confusion. I pray your FIL has a peaceful passing.
