hi everyone, I am trying to focus on posative things so, since yesterday was the first day of summer I would like to ask you to share the thing you like most about summer:

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. It has been very hot here in Mass. so yesterday I got to take part in another one of my favorite things about summer:
eating richies slush mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Oh, and standing in front of a fan with a spray bottle
The blooming flowers
The renewed sense of hope that I lost this winter
Having "popsicles only" dinners on the hottest nights
Chilled fruit soups
Buying new plants for the flowerbeds
Taking a cold shower to scrub off the grub from heavy-duty yardwork
Taking the hermit crabs outside for a suntan
Thankyou for all of your responses! Thinking about all of the wonderful things about summer have really lifted my mood! It is easy to forget how many great things there are in the world to enjoy until you really sit down and think about it!
