I have had BP since April and while the drooping of the eye and mouth have gone,I still have this tremendous sensation of numbness in the affected side. It's like I just got out of the dentist chair. The odd thing I have noticed is that when I first get up in the mornings that side of my face feels almost normal, except for the right side of my lips not able to move and my right eye still won't close. After a couple of hours, the right side of my cheek and mouth feel so tight I can barely form words and I keep biting my jaw as it feels so numb.I was wondering if anyone has had this same sensation? To others I look normal except for my right eye not blinking but I don't feel normal with all this numbness!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
