Hello - I am new to this site and was looking for some information that others with BP might know of. What have you heard in terms of how long it takes to recover and do most people completely recover? why or why not? I have had BP for 3 months now. i do have some recovery but, I still feel like I have a ways to go. I am worried that I am at a standstill with my recovery because my dr said I had a very aggressive form of this virus and my recovery is slow. I may notice some recovery from week to week instead of day to day. I am very frustrated, sad, and worried. Any information is appreciated.

depending somewhat on your treatment has something to do with your care ithink , but yes recovery can take months but then you will have forgot all about it, it can also be from a malformed verse art/vein in the back of your head around the neck area
I wish you the best of luck, just take it day by day.
for me, my eyes and nose run. My mouth is partly paralyzed on the left side. There are tiny twitches around my mouth and eye.
My hearing is acute on the left side because of the nerve inflamation. I've lost most of my sense of smell and taste. (I didn't even realize that I'd lost it on the left side, until I lost it on the right side), I've regained some smell and taste, but mostly on the right side.
I can't imagine what surgery they could do...could you expound on it?
