I got diagnosed with Bell's about a week ago, and I have been having trouble with my hearing. I was wondering if anyone else's hearing has been affected? Sudden noises seem to rattle my senses. Normal things, even like a cabinet shutting, are really bothering me. Especially when people are speaking to me, and they exclaim something suddenly... it literally feels like a megaphone in my ear!!! Yesterday I was at the supermarket, and someone stocking the shelves dropped a box on the ground... I thought I was going to jump out of my skin. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced similar symptoms. Thanks.

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
