Maybe it's the weather, maybe it's the timing, or maybe I am just plain tired of it, but Bells Palsy has been here just a little too long. The constant stares, the snickering people and all of the questions that follow the first glance. Well I'm glad to get that out! I have lived with my paralysis for 5 years next week. It has taken everything I have had to stay positive about this experience, but this week a person asked what happened to my face. The straw that broke the camel's back. The hardest part is that I have a 1 1/2 year old girl, and I hate taking pictures. I joined in hope of some encouragement. Thanks for listening my my complaining.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
