I know I have a degenerative disc on my lower back, but I have noticed the last 5-6 months that I have 4 areas on my spine that are very tender to the touch. Nothing shows up on x-rays, and the insurance won't authorize an mri or a spinal tap. Does anyone know what could cause this? It's more painful after exertion, like cleaning or even just bending over for a short period of time. Has this happened to anyone else? and what could it be? arthritis?
