My son has 3 compressed fractures of his thoracic spine. For 3 months he has wore a thoracic brace. At the last visit to the neurosurgeon, he was told he now needs thoracic spine fusion as it isn't healing. Should we see a orthopedic doc for a second opinion or trust the judgement of this neuro doc. I have heard wonderful things about the neuro's skills but am not sure what type of doc would be best. A neurosurgeon or an orthopedic who does spine trauma? Any suggestions?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
