4'-10'clean Northwest swell
3 different breaks
each session was 4-5 hours STRAIGHT.
averaging 8-10 waves per hour......yowza.

Pool time first.
$3-$5 / day limited use for a pool 1-2 hours
( sometimes it's free if you volunteer as a water therapy assistant)
20-60 min.
5 days per week
for the next two weeks.
Cost?: $15-$25 /wk (less than an MRI co-payment)
Use rolled-up towels blankets, sheets, pillows, whatever, to prop yourself up and support your back during sleep
Use rubberbands to hold the towels together then place into plastic bags.
Use lots and lots and lots of support.
Cost?: pennies
Sleep:
Plan on spending lot's of time on the floor, not on the bed.
Place blankets, pillows, etc, against the wall or headboard and sleep with your back supported width-wise across the bed,(or floor)
set your alarm clock for 2:00 AM wake up call.
turn it off, move around,then go back to sleep
(This breaks that night-time pain period when you can get a low back spasm from turning over)
Cost?: 0
Stretching on the floor or bed.
knee chest, leg roll overs.alternate arm up leg chest,etc, you know the drill.
20 min / day AM, MID day, after work ,PM
Cost?: 0

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse.
