Hi everyone. I am new here and looking for some advice. My husband was suffering severe back pain and numbness. He saw a chiropracter who refered him to a surgen. The surgen did tests and said he needed surgery right away or he could become paralised. I wanted to wait and get a second opnion but my husband listend to his mother and had the surgery right away. When he came out he was somewhat better as far as pain wise but some parts were numb that werent before! It has been 6 months and he has good days and bad days. But the last couple of days he has had lots of severe pain and more severe numbness. He dosent trust the surgon he saw and hasn't been back. I have heard that the kind of surgery he had (lower lumbar to remove bulging disc) hardly ever helps and mostly makes it worse. His mother keeps hinting that he needs ANOTHER SURGERY! Any advice would be greatly appericated.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
