Has anyone out there had a fusion and then been in more pain than they were in before? I had a lower lumbar fusion of 4 disks last year and the pain is so much worse now. They've gone in and done more MRI's, milograms, and steroid injections. Nothing is helping them find out what it is. The doctor is talking about removing the hardware to see if that helps. I'm really leary about that, though. Has anyone had hardware removed? Did it help? Please let me know if you have any advice. Thanks.
