Hello everyone, I have been having lower back pain for months, but because I was dealing with other health issues I put off doing anything about it. Well the pain started spreading into my hips and my legs (knee pain on rising). The x-rays show I have small bone spurs on my L4 and L5 area, whether its on my spine or the discs themselves wasn't made clear to me. I've been referred to a spine doctor and have an appointment today as a matter of fact. My regular doctor gave me skelaxin and ultram, but I could only afford the skelaxin. It helped some but the pain, ouch! Does anyone else have spurs and what should I expect? I've never had so many health problems at one time, and I am overwhelmed. Thanks for any input.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
