I slipped on iced over concrete and fell hard onto my tailbone on March 9th. It's been over a week and I still have soreness and stiffness around that area. I'm still able to work, walk the dog, do light exercise and housework. But I can't bend over and lift anything without feeling pain. How long does it typically take for something like this to heal? I didn't go to see a doctor since there's really nothing they can do about a bruised or fractured tailbone. I've been putting ice on it but I don't really need to take any pain meds. Anybody else been thru this?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
