hi everyone first i would like to thank you all for your support.well i went to the surgeon yesterday,got my lecture about narcotics im on 200mg of oxycontin a day 100 am 100 pm and vicodin he doesnt approve of narcs anyway my mri report showed moderate to severe central stenois and the presence of arachnoiditis,he said that everything looks fine for my age 43 ,and he doesnt agree with the mri report because he has been reading mris since 1985 ,now i dont know what to do i hurt so much my husband wants me to go back to work and i just dont know if i can handle it ,we both have bad backs ,mine is a little worse than his and we both have jobs that are sometimes grueling do i suck it up and go back or get a second opinion ?sorry this is so long dont know what to do?any advice would be appreciated. thank you

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
