Hello, I am 27 years old and i have two boys nine and four. I was injured at a walmart store when i slipped in some water inside the store 3 years ago. As a result from the injury i now have two ruptured discs in my low back which makes it very hard to stand, walk or even move without tremendous pain from my back down to my ankles. Walmart apologized for my injuries but will only offer me a total settlement of $4500.00. (My medical bills are $21,000 so far). Plus i need a spinal fusion surgery. Walmart really doesn't understand what this injury has done to me. Or how it has affected everyone in my life. All i want is my life back. My doctor thinks that surgery could help me alot. So i am taking walmart to court. The trial will begin in november. I have heard lots of rumors that walmart rarly loses in these types of cases. And that walmart's high reputation of their low prices is the reason why. Has anyone taken their injury claim to trial ? Has anyone won their case?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
