my son has pdd and the headstart program said hes not severe enough to get the help he needs for special classes other than speech therapy once week for one hour in crowded busy classroom where the therapist doesnt really work with him, shes too busy playing with the other kids. where do i go for someone to get him the help he needs, even his dr wrote the director a letter asking for additional help because he needs it. the director said our testing isnt as good as the drs but your son doesnt qualify for any additional help. they put him in class with other kids all the time that have no problems and just let him play all day. they dont help him, they just say they do. where do i go to get someone to get him the help he needs?
