My little guy is 8 years of age and is in 2nd grade. I have never had the doctor talk to me about meds, I have had the schools ask me if he is on any meds but that is it. What do the meds do for your children. Just curious. Do they stop the meltdowns ect. How severe does Autism have to be in order to have meds perscribed or offered? I often see discussions about meds on this site and I am courious as to their benifits.
