I had told a police officer (there was wierd person around the neighborhood by my house) and I said I have Autism...they said, "Oh, what do you take that for?" I tried to explain that its like Rainman sort of... They thought Autism was a medication....How sad, ha?!!! LOL, though it was kind of funny.

Oh Kris, glad you can laugh about it now, but that must have been so annoying for you at the time! You'd think the police would have enough basic training to at least know what Autism IS...

That is pathetic and scary! In this day and Age! Police not knowing about Autism?! They need to be sent to training! Do you think you could ask Autism Society to suggest it? Because that is dangerous!

yep I take Aspergers myself made me the man I am today recommend it to all my friends to Aspergers the med with brains

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
