I was just wandering if anyone could help me out here. I am wandering what kind of therapies, supplements and or meds have worked for you. Zach sees an OT usually once a week and has speech therapy 2 times a week for 15 min at school. He is on Risperdal, busiroprone, depekote and melatonin. He is still very hyper and has recently started druelling alot and hand flapping more than normal, also the spinning is comming back as well as more temper tantrums and frustration, He speaks fairly well and I have noticed he is using more appropriate speech and interacting very well with his brother and sister and even asking kids at the park what there name is and offering his name. I almost cried the other day it was so sweet. Thankfully the other boy was very receptive. Zach didn't stay and play with him for very long but it was awesome to watch. But the hyperactivity is a big problem at school, and he is getting into trouble more at home than he was and with summer coming it scares me being home more and having him wreck the house more than he already does. He is also climbing things again. I would love some advice on what to do. I hate having to keep upping the meds, they tend to make him drowsy if we increase to the recomended dosing. So he is not on even close to the full dose on any of the meds. Sorry this is so long, yesterday was not a good day, and I am still frustrated.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
