I wanted to find out if anyone else has a child like my son. Every time I take him to walmart or to the supermarket, he throws a tantrum. He cries and screams and starts throwing himself around. He gets so out of control and I start to get so upset and so frustrated. I don't want to leave him home all the time because there are times when I don't have the option. How do I get him to cooperate and not act out in public? He is not high functioning and doesn't understand the rewards system that was mentioned in another post. PLEASE HELP! I am at my wits end.
