good morning,i have a question that i hope someone might be able to help me with.i have a daughter who is 2.5 and has been diagnosed with pdd-nos,well that is what the last doc has told us.we have see 3 doctors 1 said she might have mild autism but did not diagnose her #2 did diagnose her with HFA and the developmental doc just diagnosed her with PDD-NOS.when school evaluated her they said she does not qualify for special ed,i think alot has to do with the fact that she can talk.i will fight with that ***** school district intil my dd gets the help that she needs!my question is can she qualify for SSI/disabilty with a diagnoses of PDD-NOS?and will it be harder to get it for her if she does not qualify for special ed services?any information would be helpful.i would like to stay in this group if you all would have me,thank you....
