I picked Alex up from school today, as I sat outside on the bench, just talking with his teacher and awaiting the bus's for the other kiddos', A beautiful blonde hair/blue eyed by came charging past us, Alex's teacher moved, I didn't, I just sat there. I haven't seen him on campus, so I am assuming he is a new student. All of a sudden he plops down beside me on the bench. The teachers that work with him were telling him to get up, I shook my head "NO" uh.....duh....leave him alone, he's fine. All of a sudden, he turns his face to mine and grabs my face and gives me a "love push" on the cheek! Oh ya'll should have seen the teachers, lol......so funny, but dumb......so anyway he sits there with me, lays his head on me and plays with his hands, then flaps them right in my face, I just sat there, he 's laying his sweet head on my shoulder and a teacher is just starring, I heard one of the aides say " he must know her!" I just sat there and let him love on me, in his own special way. Then when his bus came, he didn't want to go, he touches my cheek and smiles, I said " I 'll see ya tomm. son" he got on the bus. His teacher came over, she was a nervous wreck! lol, and said "do you know him?" I said " yes in a very special way" she looked at me, and then at my son, she goes on to tell me" he's never , ever gotten close to any of us like that before!" I sat there and wavied good-bye to him, he was still watching me as they continued to load the bus. I sat there, too tired to move, after being up most of the night last night, and I thought " somehow he knows me!" Oh what a great feeling! I sometimes think that teachers are afraid to let the kiddo's get near them, afraid they may get hurt? Well I guess I'm immune to fear, and I just enjoyed that little boys visit, in his very special way......no words did he say......his actions and tenderness was worth a thousand words.....Somehow that little boy jut knew.............. What a great feeling , when a child knows you, but had never met you before...... I am honored by his visit!!!!
