We moved to FL 7 years ago, about the time my son was really going thru a very bad time...
We had belonged to and been quite involved in a church in MS.
We quit going about the same time.... he just couldn't adjust.... didn't know the people he would just make fits, and it just wasn't worth it.
(probly it was, but I just felt beaten down by then)
(Fast Forward)
We started going again this past Sunday (and again Wednesday)
HE LOVED IT!!!
He will get to meet so many kids there, and to socialize..... which he doesn't get much of at his school... only about 50 kids there, and no girls.
He did great..........AND!!!
They are having a "lock-in" tonight, and he WANTS to Go!!!
(basically a sleep-over)......
I am so happy and proud for him..... and for all of us.
I especially need the strength and support from the church.

Just wondering, how to get over the fear of letting your child sleep-over, and do the lock-in parties?????? I would be sitting outside the door all-night waiting for my son to take off! Will and how did you, were you able to do this? I need advice on this one????? And Great job ! I hope he has a blast!!!!!!!!!!!

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
