I'm new here, my name is Kristin. My son, Jack which is 2 1/2 is in the process of getting the diagnosis of autism, which i had pretty much figured out already on my own. He doesn't say anything but Yeah, and he says it for everything no matter if he doesn't really want it...it was cute at 18 and 19 months old but something else would be nice now. We have been doing wheat and dairy free for about 5 months and his behavior is remarkably improved, not so many tantrums and meltdowns but language is the same. Yesterday I got him an appointment with a Dan doctor in March , and I am very nervous....I am not a doctor person myself but want him to have every opportunity to lead a normal life. Has anyone had experiences with these doctors and the detoxification of metals. Also Jack has an obsession with toothpaste...not the kind for 2 year olds he wants ours. He will scream incessantly for some and I find my older children will give him some on a toothbrush just to make him stop crying...they don't understand. Anyway i found an article by Stephanie Cave who does the detoxification in autistic children and one of the metals she said our children are exposed to is tin which is in flouride toothpaste. So i feel Jack's levels really need to be tested since he has been eating toothpast for months now (i don't give him the tube he wants a little on a toothbrush and carries it around and says uummm) So any advice anyone has dealing with these doctors or not is appreciated. Thanks Kristin

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
