A strong disclaimer: This probably will be upsetting, but I feel that it is an important message. I am posting this on the AS board and the Autism board. People with ASD need to be educated about dangerous situations. This is VERY difficult for me to share, but I hope it will be a warning to others. In high school, I was into playing Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Mostly guys played it at my school. I loved to play the game with anybody and everybody. One day a senior invited me over to his house to play cards. He said he'd like to show me his whole collection. I was excited and failed to see the danger in going to a strange guy's bedroom with him and his friend and nobody else. As you may guess, he had NO intrest in playing cards. Even after he locked the door I failed to figure out it was a very bad situation. Well, (God, now I'm crying) he raped me. He told me if I told anyone he'd slit my throat. His friend the next day was showing pictures to all of the guys. Some thought it was cool. One, who was like my big brother, caught wind of what happened and beat the shit out of him and spent the entire first bell with me, comforting me and telling me it wasn't my fault. I hope by sharing this story, Aspies and parents will avoid a simular situation.
