I know not all of you have reached the very interesting phase of puberty in Autistic kids, but I need some advice here.
Jordan is 13, well established in puberty, and is starting to ask questions about what certain things mean - condoms, masturbation, etc. He's been through the school seminar series, but apparently all he learnt there was the basic biology. How it all works, stuff like that.
What's worse (for me) is that he has no emotional connection to this stuff, or any embarrasment about discussing it. It's just simple information to him. So I'm going beetroot red and he just keeps asking for clarification!
Any suggestions??? Anyone else been through this???

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
but how about a book? you guys could read it together, and it can take away some of the embarassment because you will both be focusing on reading it...and maybe any pictures (gulp) that it may have...?
I think researching for the 'right' book for your sons questions before hand would be wise...check the library....?
Im shooting blind here, but I hope this helps
Book is a great idea, though, thanks!
