I am new to the board so I am sure that this topic has been touched. I have been potty training Trey for 2 years with little success. He will go do #1 buy himself most of the time. Those times are when we are at home. If we are at someone elses house, even if he knows where the bathroom is, he will not go on his own. He almost never does #2 by himself. He just doesn\'t feel comfortable. We pretty much know his schedule for #2. So when we feel it\'s time, we ask him to go to the potty. He says \"no potty\" every time. if we happen to catch him before he goes and place him on the potty, he will sit there forever and not do anything. I even let him have some privacy thinking he would go, and he would just hop off the toilet and say \"finish\", flush and run out. Does anyone have any advice for me. I think I\'m at a loss. Thanks.

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
