My daughter did the poop smear thing all over the walls yesterday. It was during nap time and she was so quiet in there that she could have been sleeping (though obviously wasn't). It went all over her (she also ate some...which is really gross) on her bed and window, walls, and floor. I thought this behavior was over with as she has not done this for about 4 months.

Her sister actually was the one to tell me when I walked in the room (as if I couldn't smell it) her little sister announced loudly "Cait Poop". However, Caitlyn stood there with poo all over her face grinning and never said a word. I know the meaning of "s---
eating grin" now.

My son has done that soo many times, just not eat it. Unfortounately this behavior I think will come and go including new ones. What I do is never give him the opportounity to be alone to long, so that he can do this. Once it's quiet in his room i'm on the look out. He wears pants and shorts at all times. I also try getting him pants or shorts w/tie string to make it harder for him to get into. You may wanna ask a professional what kinds of things you cangive em, Ive been told peanut butter. This issue i've brought up many times. I'm in your shoes..

Glad to see that you can at least find the humor in such a bad situation. My son did this smearing of feces for years, I went through the motions, anger, disgust, embarressed, ridiculle, and finally acceptance! I will say that the p/B is a good idea, as well try shaving cream!

I too know this one only too well. It went away about 9 months ago. I went to the childrens place and bought a bunch of onsies and overhauls for him and feet pjs with the onsies. He stopped thank god, this was one of those behaviors that I thought I would loose my mind. Well, I didn't loose my mind, but I did have a few glasses of wine at the end of the day. My Noah used to do this all the time when he was @ 2. I quit making a big deal about it, and he stopped. Plus, his potty training started about this time and I would try to get him in the bathroom when I thought he was going to have a bowel movement. I read a book by Temple Grandin awhile ago, and she said that she did the same thing when she was a child. She called it her artwork.

i never had to deal with this.. but art work yeah... do you guys think finger painting would be a replacemnt that would work? I dont know but just a suggestion,

I have tried onesie shirts and pajamas with feet also. Have I mentioned that my daughter is the Houdini of clothing? She can get out of anything.

I also was wondering what the peanut butter was for...it would have to be a suppository, because my daughter doesn't eat peanut butter. Only kidding about sticking it where the sun don't shine. Although have been tempted some days.

    theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
