We just were told that our 2 yr. old son has Autism. I'm lost, and am trying to be the strong one about it. My wife has been breaking down dailey. We were told that it was on the mild side, but I really don't have any idea what that means for my boy. We've started ST and should be starting DT soon. We are looking to start him on the GFCF diet. There are only 5 D.A.N. Doctors in Indiana, none that are close to where we live. I've talked about autism with my sons local Doctor and he says that there are some things we can try but that he isn't big on the Biomedical side of things. I think my son needs a different doctor. Can someone PLEASE explain to me what MILD means for my son?
