I just finished watching the episode of True Life: I have Autism. I cried through the whole thing. Not because I felt sorry for the teens on it, but because I saw a lot of my DD in these kids. The whole time I kept thinking to myself, "How could she have gone so long misdiagnosed?" This is so my DD! The only difference is that my DD is very verbal. If anyone hasn't watched this, please go to mtv.com and search true life and you can watch it online. It is so worth watching. It will deffinately get you to thinking. It helped me to understand some of what my DD goes through and why she does some of what she does.
