I know each state is different, but I wanted to pass this along. Both of my boys are registered with the state, here in NJ it's called DDD (Division of Developmental Disabilities) the child gets a case manager. The child in NJ every other year gets a cash stipend given to the parent to use for therapy, etc. Usually the amount is like 1,200.00. The reason for my post is that my case manager put Seans name on a stresspit waiting list. What this is, is money for the parent to use for babysitting, whatever. It is $200.00 monthly until the child is 21. I couldn't beleive it!!!! All you have to do is send in monthly what you are doing with the money, babysitting or therapy. I was and am so happy. I just wanted to pass along the information so that maybe you could check with your state to see if you have anything like this available. Lord knows we could all use some respite!!! Hugs and love ya, Denise
