i was wondering if any of you could take the time to tell me about milestones your kids have achieved that you thought they would never do. examples: toileting, feeding, making friends, initiating play, ect. anything you want to tell me about. I want to print your replies and show them to some people. Anything at all! Please include your childs first name, age that they met this milestone, your home state, (this is to make it "real', hope you do not mind) and briefly how YOU helped them to do it. i am tired of hearing that kids with autism will NEVER do this or that. i read on here everyday about our kids that have accomplished things that people never thought they could do.
