We were at a picnic last week and a younger boy was being a little wild and starting pretend punching my son. My son got really upset and backed in a corner and started crying for me. My husband and I were thinking of enrolling him in karate lessons in the fall. We don't want him to punch back but would like to see him defend himself when necessary. It was upsetting to see him backed in a corner crying b/c he was scared. Any suggestions?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
