I think it's about time that there were a law that reqiures accessments of all children between the ages of 2-3. Just like we're all required to have our children injected with various vaccines when their 2months old, it should also be mandatory that children are checked out for autism and other developmental disorders. It's not fair for a parent to find this out when their child is 5-8 years old when during that time the average child has seen a doctor at least 10 times. To me there's no way that a disorder like this one could be overlooked so often.
