I am looking for some insight/input. My husband and I are the proud parents of two young boys, who both have autism and are pretty high-functioning. We have been talking about adopting a child for some time now. We know that we have a lot of love to offer to a child who needs a home. However, we have another motive. We are very worried about what will happen to our boys when we are not alive to care for them anymore. We hope that by adopting a child, there will always be someone to love and care for our sons when we are gone. But is that fair???? Is it unfair to burden another person with that responsibility? Or would it be \"a fair trade\" for the adopted child to have a home and people who love him or her? I\'m especially curious about the opinions of people who have been adopted, but any insight offered would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
