I need a reliable source/website that tells how important consistency and routine is for children with autism. If anyone out there knows of a site that is reliable with this kind of information I really need it. We want to have something to show the judge, lawyer and most importantly, his mom, just how important it is for Adams mom to either see him regularly or not at all. I hate it has to be this way but his mental health is much more important to us then her ego. I have done a few searches but come up with nothing that I think a judge/lawyer would accept I wonder if we will need this from his Dr, or a psyciatrist (I know I spelled that wrong, no spell check on here LOL) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Adam needs to see his mother but he needs to see her regular, not every few months just to throw him out of whack for a few weeks after words, it takes weeks to get him back into his routine, i.e. potty in the toilet not his pants, sleep, agression, ect. All of you know how bad things can get if routine is not there, we need to make judge/lawyer/mother understand it, too. She knows, she just doesnt do it because she doesnt care. Thanks alot!

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
