I know I might be asking a dumb question but i'm seeing a few new "autistic characteristics" in Jack, and I was wondering do children starting stimming on things the older they get. I have never really noticed him to stim on anything in particular (except the tv and dvd player) until the last month or so....in the last week he has begun feeling over the edges of the thick cardboard kid books and seem mesmerized if the book is shaped. He has also started noticing the wheels on the matchbox cars like so many other moms i have heard talk about. He looks them over very intently.....so like i said my ? might be generic to you guys but we are only 6 months into learning everything. Also Jack is 32 months old now, i didn't know if some things manifest as they get older. Anybody's experience or advice would be very appreciated.
